About us

We are visual beings.  We live in a visual world. Our perceptions of the world, the information we absorb and the signals we send, are overwhelmingly visual in nature. We think and dream in pictures and symbolic images.  We replay and re-create life visually in our heads.  Even when we read, we transform the words into mental pictures into paper, our diaries, our blogs.
In the past few years, social networking has started to overshadow traditional blogging. With the emergence of Tumblr, WordPress, Pinterest, Blogger, Livejournal and other websites have provided platforms for writers to express their thoughts (even when their moleskins are full), a place for advertising, a place to provide a running narrative of our incessant selfies, a place where we can share our ideas with the world,  a place where we share the latest hipster cafes, our lifestyles, sometimes building a movement, connect with like-minded individuals etc…  The bloggersphere  in today's 21st century in Singapore context seems to be ever growing and changing, Ch@ngInG.
So you know, the term "blogger" (especially in the context of Singapore) seems to be thrown about too carelessly lately? Plz dont kill my vibez  is a blog where we dish out all that controversial sh*t (for a better lack of word) that puts blogging in a bad light. We will be exploring on how shallow some bloggers actually look while doing their vlogs (Video Blogs), mocking them on their make up tutorials as well as their ever-so- long-15-min-video shopping hauls ++ etc. No we are not jealous or interested about getting an overload of sponsorships from SALOMEVI for rainbow dyed hair or blogshops that hire any Sarah, Michelle or Rachel for their photoshoots. But we are here to discuss about how people are in it for the wrong reasons. For leisure or profit, fame or career?
It's time WE draw the line.
